Stoulton Village Hall and Covid19 (Coronavirus)
As of today the Hall remains open to Classes and Village events. Individual Class Leaders and their attendee’s and those attending Village events should make their own decisions as to their attendance based on their personal circumstances and in line with the latest Health guidelines. The situation is continually changing and we will be guided by official government and Public Health Authority advice. If the advice changes we will review - particularly if, as is being suggested today, in a few weeks time people over 70 are advised to self-isolate.
We are increasing the cleaning time given to the hall with the emphasis on surfaces and handles - this is in addition to the existing cleaning regime already in place.
We will display guideline information posters and remind all users to follow the published guidelines in particular with reference to hand washing etc.We will ensure that there is sufficient soap and hand drying facilities. Paper towels in the kitchen and air dryers in the toilets.
If anyone becomes aware of an individual who has been confirmed as having contracted Covid19, or is self isolating due to showing symptoms, and they have recently used the Hall in the days prior to their symptoms developing please advise us immediately so that we can take appropriate action with respect to the Village Hall.
We have postponed the Jazz in the Village event on March 27th on the grounds of low ticket sales to date and not wishing to press our usual last minute encouragement for people to buy.We expect to continue with the April 4th coffee morning but this and all future events will remain under review.
